ARTICULATE STORYLINE

eLearning that walks you through creating a project step by step, using clear prompts and easy-to-follow instructions.

Challenge:

Learners needed a clear, structured approach to crafting effective AI prompts—ensuring they could generate meaningful responses and efficiently query the system for information.

Solution:

Developed an intuitive learning experience designed to help users master AI prompt creation. This interactive breakdown covered best practices and key terminology.

  • Clickable Key Terms – Learners could explore terminology by selecting words at the top of the interface.

  • In-Depth Definitions – Once a term was selected, a clear, concise definition was provided to enhance comprehension.

  • Real-World AI Prompt Examples – Selecting a keyword would showcase the creation of that portion of an AI prompt, helping learners grasp its practical application.

2 | BUILD AN AI PROMPT

Project Type: Instruction Building, Concept Testing, Software Simulations
Tools Used: Articulate Storyline, Snagit, Canva, JavaScript

Challenge:

Learners needed to create AI prompts tailored to specific tasks while maintaining input flexibility. The goal was to guide without imposing rigid instructions, allowing users to explore prompt creation more freely.

Solution:

Developed an interactive Storyline block to guide learners through the prompt creation process step by step.

  • Clear Starting Point – The main task was displayed at the top, ensuring all learners began from the same point.

  • Guided Input – Learners selected a button to access simple, easy-to-follow instructions on what to enter into the prompt, with flexibility to construct sentences in any format.

  • Prompt Builder Integration – As each section was completed, learners added it to the Prompt Builder, progressively filling out the remaining tabs until the full prompt was constructed.

  • Seamless Copy Feature – Once finished, learners could press a button to copy their completed prompt to their clipboard for immediate use.

  • On-Demand Assistance – If needed, a lightbox appeared, offering guidance on best practices and providing hints to support learners in optimizing their prompts.

3 | STEP BY STEP

Immersive software simulations that easily guide users through each step, transforming the learning process into a dynamic and enriching experience.

Challenge:

Users wanted a more engaging way to learn software functionality. Traditional text-based instructions lacked interactivity, making it difficult for learners to grasp steps and complex workflows effectively.

Solution:

Designed immersive, hands-on simulations using Articulate Storyline.

  • Step-by-Step Guidance: Learners progress by clicking on step one to reveal detailed instructions.

  • Interactive Hotspots: Each step directs learners to clickable hotspots, allowing them to engage with the content actively.

  • Dynamic Progression: Successfully interacting with a hotspot unlocks the next step, guiding learners through the simulation in a seamless, intuitive sequence.

4 | USER CHOICE NAVIGATION

Seamless navigation with interactive menus and buttons that let you dive into keywords, definitions, and core concepts with ease.

Challenge 1:

Needed a solution that allowed two distinct user groups to access similar information while accommodating minor differences in content

Solution:

  • Interactive Navigation Menu – Designed a dynamic menu system that tailored content based on user selection.

  • User-Specific Menus – Created separate menus for each user type, allowing learners to choose the one relevant to them.

  • Intuitive Hover Functionality – When users hovered over their chosen menu, additional buttons appeared, offering topic selections.

  • Content Reveal & Closure – Clicking a button revealed relevant information, which could be easily closed after review.

  • Hands-On Practice – Included a "Try It" section with step-by-step guidance for performing key actions.

Challenge 2:

Learners had several different options to choose from in learning the software, with no need for a step-wise process. Some learners would not need to follow instructions from the beginning but may need to find information that would alleviate their immediate needs.

ARTICULATE RISE

Engaging Rise courses that use interactive blocks and immersive storylines to bring learning content to life.

Project Type: Multimedia Rich Rise Course
Tools Used: Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Canva, Snagit, Javascript, Video Editing, and AI Narration

Challenge:

Training materials were originally presented in static PowerPoint slides, limiting engagement and interactivity for learners. The goal was to convert these slides into a dynamic, self-paced eLearning course with interactive elements and LMS tracking capabilities.

Solution:

Reviewed all PowerPoint content to create an engaging, interactive learning experience, incorporating:

  • Content Gap Analysis – Identified areas where additional material was needed to enhance understanding.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration – Worked with other teams to gain deeper insights into processes, concepts, and tool applications.

  • SCORM Compliance – Generated SCORM files for LMS integration, enabling course tracking and completion monitoring.

  • AI-Narrated Video Explanations – Created video recordings with AI narration to simplify complex topics.
